TECHNICIAN
Sydney was always a team player helping with painting, scenic shifts, and quick changes but she didn't dive into technical theatre until college. In her first year at Virginia Tech she enrolled in Stagecraft and Stage Management and voluntarily attended light hangs/focuses to assist the MFA candidates.
After transferring to Drake University she took additional technical courses in Mechanical Drafting, CADD, Scenic and Lighting Design, and Costuming and accrued practicum credits working on Drake MainStage Productions.
Over the summers she consistently worked in technical fields to grow her knowledge of technical theatre and the professional industry.
